Review of 'I Am Jim Moray' EP / Niblick is a Giraffe Records - BBC Online 30.10.02
I AM JIM MORAY E.P. REVIEW - "Innovation runs riot, from the hypnotic layered vocal samples of opener Lemady to closing track Come With Me, a big, self-written folk-pop ballad with lush strings from guest quintet The Hareem (conducted by Iain L Masson and arranged by Jim) that wouldn't sound out of place on the Radio 2 playlist. This sweet, dense orchestration features also on another Moray-penned item, As I Roved Out, a dreamy, digitally-soaked 21st century ballad of death and injustice. Moray is young, keen, immensely talented and if there's any justice, bound for glory." - Mel McClellan, BBC website, 30th October 2002
